Questions

What exactly do I get for $0.99?

One dish, photographed three ways — three finished 1080×1080 photos, ready for Instagram, a delivery app listing or a printed menu. You pick the ones you like. There is no subscription and nothing expires.

Will it still look like my food?

That is the hard part, and we are honest about it. The dish, the plate and the portion come from your photo. What changes is the surface it sits on and the light falling on it. Every shot is scored against your original before delivery, and anything that drifts too far is thrown away rather than sent to you.

Do I need a good camera?

No. The example above was shot on a phone at an outdoor table in the middle of the day, one-handed. If the dish is in focus and fills a reasonable part of the frame, it will work.

What kind of photo does not work?

Photos where the dish is hard to separate from the table — a busy patterned cloth is the usual culprit. Screenshots, menus, and pictures carrying someone else's watermark are refused outright. If we refuse a photo you are not charged.

What if I do not like the results?

You keep the dishes you have not used. If a shoot fails or we cannot deliver everything we promised, the dishes are returned to your balance automatically — you do not have to ask.

Can I control the styling?

Yes. Choose the background and lighting, and list anything you want kept out — no cutlery, no other dishes, no garnish. Those exclusions decide which scenes are even considered, so they are honoured rather than merely requested.

Who owns the photos?

You do. They are yours to use on your menu, your listings and your social accounts. We do not resell them or use your food photos to advertise to anyone else.

How long does it take?

Around a minute per dish. A twenty-item menu is an afternoon of photographing and a coffee's wait — not a photographer, a stylist and a day of shooting.
